Submitting a name (yours or someone in the military) will mean that this person goes to one of our members who wants to Thank and support a Military person.
The way this is done is the name that is submitted and the information is put on a list. The member who asks for a name will get the top name. It is the responsibility of the person taking the name to make sure that the military persons information is kept private and that the person adopting the name continues full support of their military person throughout the duration of his/her deployment. This can include letters, cards, postcards, pictures, and care packages.
Your e mail address will NEVER go to a member unless you specifically request that it does or you give it to the member.
Please make sure that all fields are filled out completely and accurately so that a member does not get RTS mail (return to sender).
Please allow your supporter to know when your mail box will be closing so that the member does not mail you a package to have it returned.
If your part of a traveling unit please make sure to update your address so that your supporter has the most accurate information and none of the care packages or letters are returned.
Try to be aware that most of our members are simply trying to make sure you are thanked for your service acknowledgment when receiving a care package is appreciated.
Please make sure all fields are filled out with complete and accurate mailing address for the receiver.
