Baby Basket and Blanket Group
Lead person is Sandra Thomas
This group has blanket makers. Blankets can be made of quilts or crocheted or knitted. Also we collect brand named baby products (Johnson and Johnson or Huggies brand or Baby Magic) shampoos and lotions and powders as well as ointments and rash creams. Just think of the things that a new baby would need.
The baskets are for Military families. (New borns only) If any of our pen pals find out that their soldier is going to be a mom or dad soon, they are welcome to contact us and submit a name and address.
Bake Group
Each bake team should go through Dawn and their State leader. If your interested in making sure our soldiers have cookies and breads and cookie bars as well as home made jerky or candy, please let Dawn know your considering this so that she can guide you as to what is able to go in the mail different times of the year. REMEMBER CHOCOLATE CANNOT GO TO THE SAND BOX (IRAQ OR AFGHANISTAN) BETWEEN MAY 1 AND SEPT 30 IT WILL MELT.
